Kanjuu Farmers Cooperative Society (FCS Code: XAD20) is situated in Kirinyaga East Subcounty, Kirinyaga County, and was established in 1997. The society operates two factories and serves a total of 2,700 members, with 500 active farmers. The area features rich volcanic soils and relies on water from the Kii River and Lupingazi River. The climate is moderate, with rainfall ranging from moderate to high. The coffee picking season is split, with a “fly” pick occurring from May to July and the main harvest taking place from October to December.

Inoi Farmers Cooperative Society (FCS Code 0417) is located in Kirinyaga Central Subcounty within Kirinyaga County and was established in 1954. The society operates at an altitude of approximately 1400 meters above sea level and comprises 11 factories, serving a total of 6,117 farmers. The region is characterized by loam soil and relies primarily on rivers as its main water source. The area experiences a cool to warm, humid, and rainy climate, with annual rainfall ranging between 1200mm and 1700mm. The main coffee picking season runs from October to December.
