Rooted in Kirinyaga West's red soils

Kibirigwi FCS dates from 1953, making it one of the Union’s two oldest societies, and counts 9,500 members in Kirinyaga West. Eight factories, from Ragati to Chema, wash its cherry. The society is Rainforest Alliance certified and produced 355.2 tonnes of clean coffee in 2025/26.
